TSP KTM85SX / Husky TC85 2018-on 12 Degree kit TSP Head Insert Package P.H.KT85.18on.12D.INBUNDLE

*** This is our 12 degree head style which requires 12 degree pistons in future rebuilds ***

You will receive one complete cylinder insert to suit a KTM85SX or Husky TC85 from 2018-on,  a piston kit and little end bearing to suit this head. This Insert is also supplied with 2 base gaskets which are required to be fitted together under the cylinder in order to achieve the necessary cylinder height and correct squish clearance. This will fit into your standard OEM Head cap.

This 12 degree kit is more refined and offers more performance over our standard 85 head kit. See our Power kit section for dyno graphs including our ignition and pipe to suit.

Our combustion chamber designs have been used by thousands of happy customers and have been extensively dyno tested… the gains are consistent and include: increased power throughout the rev range, improved fuel economy, greatly reduced risk of detonation, improved engine life, and much smoother power delivery. We also have a large number of riders reporting much cooler running temps under normal riding conditions.

This Insert is available with the following combustion chamber option:

HIGH COMPRESSION: This combustion chamber design is higher compression than stock and requires a thicker base gasket stack than stock to achieve the correct squish clearance (base gaskets are supplied). It is suited to 98 RON fuel near sea level with appropriate jetting. It gives a very noticeable increase to power throughout the rev range, resulting in much better pull out of corners, improved starts off the line and faster speeds down the straights.

Riders who want maximum performance above what this insert offers should consider fitting our Power Kit which also includes a TSP ignition and Scalvini pipe. This package turns the stock 85 into a weapon and matches many ‘ported’ engines for overall performance.
